motor analyzer

Q: What makes the MCM different in the way it monitors than the other leading signature or current analysis products?

A: Almost all the leading systems use motor signature analysis which incorporates current signatures and voltage signatures. The difference is the MCM system uses patented technology called "Modeling" or "Model Based Condition Monitoring Technology". It actually learns the dynamics of the operating systems and models it. Then it compares the model against the actual operating system.

Q: What does the MCM System tell you about your electric motor system?

A: The MCM informs the user about the entire motor's operating system, incoming power including inverter drives if available, motor performance or motor issues and conditions occurring from what the electric motor is driving, such as a pump, fan, gearbox, misalignment, bearings etc. It will also indicate whether the corrective action taken solved the problem or created additional problems.

Q: How many parameters does the MCM monitor?

A: The MCM monitors 12 mechanical parameters, 8 electrical parameters including harmonics, physical data on the motor and overall summary of status via alerts, plus advanced diagnostics.

Q: What type of software does the system use?

A: MCM Scada software is a Windows based Scada system that will operate with TCPIP platforms seamlessly.

Q: How do we activate the MCMScada Software?

A: You must contact us by phone or by e-mail for the activation codes for MCMScada software.
